For some reason, they decided to build the beach restaurant in the style of a Nazi bunker, like they hadn't had enough of that during the war, when Guernsey was occupied.
This is how they serve gin & tonic in Guernsey.
The island of Herme. Guernsey belongs to the UK, but not the EU. It's a bailiwick.
